USNA Convention

Last Friday and Saturday, I headed down to Price, Utah (a.k.a. podunk, UT) to attend a convention by the Utah Student Nurses Association. The city itself was a bit too quaint for me (no offense if you live there, have lived there, or ever plan on living there. You have nothing but my condolences.) To quote my friend, Suzette, "If I had to live here, I'd shoot myself."

The food, well that wasn't any better. We chose to ignore the advice of our hotel manager and tried the most expensive restaurant in town. Surely if it's expensive, it's got to be good, right? WRONG. Blaaaa, I think we'd all like to forget that. All I can say is, "I wouldn't feed that steak to my dog!!" (Inside joke.)

Now for the good stuff. I had so much fun with my girlfriends. It was like being a teenager again, and that's saying a lot. I was with my friends Suzette, Annette, Heesoon and Meliss. They are so great! We stayed up until 3:30 am giggling and laughing. I have a feeling people were asking for refunds at the front desk of the hotel the next morning. We got a couple "bangs" on the wall from frustrated guests trying to sleep.

Anyway, thanks for the laughs girls. As excited as I am to get the heck out of school, I will miss seeing you each week. You have become near and dear to my heart.
