Today I got to hang out with my little Jake-o and go on a school field trip. You know the school district is hard up for money when your field trip is walking to the local grocery store. Got to love it!I did enjoy being with him and will totally miss the day when the kids are too old to have field trips. They are growing up way too fast!

I can hear this generation a few years from now.... When I was kid during the 2nd depression... we were so poor that we walked to the grocery store for field trips!!
That is sad!! But I'm sure you made it fun!! Gotta love when the boys still want ya around, I was at the Elementary school a few days ago when school let out and collected all of the kids and JT (he's 10) asked if he could ride the bus home... I was like "NO- you're stuck with me kid, weather you like it or not!!"
