Last Day of Class

Today was our last day of class. I couldn't stop smiling I was so happy. A couple people (you know who you are!) were trying to get me emotional, but I wasn't having any of that. I'll save that sappy stuff for graduation day! Woohoo!

Some of us went out for Mexican food after class. Nothing like ending it all with good food. I'm going to miss everyone!

No More Homework!!

It's 11:30 at night and can I tell you how happy I am??? I just want to jump on top of this chair and do a dance. I have officially just completed every single last bit of homework for my nursing school career!!! No more case studies, clinical journals, evaluations, posters, presentations, community service, continuing education hours, clinical hours in the hospital, etc, etc, etc. Best of all, no more forest green UVU scrubs that make me look like the jolly green giant.

Tomorrow is the last day of class and then I only have the final. Hallelujah!

Kelsey gets what she Deserves!

Kelsey has been bored out of her mind the last couple of years of school. She has been so excited because she recently got to test for the school district's Accelerated Learning Lab. We received the results this week and Kelsey got in! She is thrilled and the icing on the cake is that her two best friends got in with her. They will be attending 5th and 6th grade at a different elementary than they are currently attending. The good news for mommy is we have other mommies to carpool with.

This is the same program that Morgan was blessed to participate in and it was a really positive move in her life, so we are looking forward to more of the same. Way to go my little smarty pants, KK!!

"What Women Want" Expo

This weekend my sister, Tammy, and brother-in-law, Randy, have a booth at the "What Women Want" expo at the South Towne Expo Center. I helped them set up the booth last night and enjoyed every minute of it since decorating was involved!

They own a romantic escape, bed and breakfast in St. George called EDEN'S KEEP. You'll have to check out their website to see how awesome it is. My brother-in-law creates/sculpts these beautiful themed architectural features (rocks, pools, you name it...). He's quite talented! My sister is staying busy running the business. I can't wait to go spend a night there myself.

Joe's "Perma-smile"

Obviously, Joe's favorite part of the weekend was driving fast and furious in Mike's beautiful toys. I kept looking over at him and he had a permanent smile plastered on his face. Susie and I manned the walkie talkies entertaining ourselves and being silly. Good times . . . good times.

Easter Weekend in Arizona

The family loaded in the ole minivan and headed to Arizona for Easter weekend. We stayed with Mike & Susie and had a blast! Joe and I took a hiatus from the diet while there, so we ReaLLy enjoyed the food. Two of the days were warm, sunny and beautiful. It was a GrEAt way to start off the kids' spring break. The adults went for a long drive in Mike's cars, we watched movies in the theater, ate yummy food (did I mention that already?), the kids got a ride on the Harley and loved it, we decorated Easter eggs, attended an uplifting Easter program at church, and we picnicked out in the desert by a stream. All this topped off with Easter candy. Does it get any better?

Thanks Mike & Suze!
