Holiday Cheer 2011
The holidays were here and gone in a blurr! As usual, we were here, there and everywhere during December.
Jake's 5th grade class singing at their Christmas program. Mr. Drummond was leading the way!
We were very spoiled and blessed for Christmas. Joe surprised me and bought me a beautiful ring. I was shocked and amazed at how wonderful he is. After 17 years of marriage, it just keeps getting better. Love you Joe!
Halloween 2011
On October 22, 2011, the Lehi South Stake hosted a multi-stake youth dance. It was a full-costume dance and we had a blast.
Morgan wasn't thrilled that I got to attend the dance, but some day I'm sure she'll look back with fond memories. Nothing more embarrassing than seeing your mom try to shake her booty at the ripe age of 40!
Kelsey was a creepy zombie this year. She and her good friend, Ashton, were both zombies and looked scary! All credit goes to Ashton's mom, Rachel Hunt, who has the talent and ability to make them look this great.
Todd Driggs, John Darrington, Jae Darrington, Joe Weight, Wendy Weight, Susie Holdsworth, Mike Holdsworth
Mike and Susie had another Halloween party this year. Fun times! We laughed hard and ate lots!!

Deano is Double Digits
Oh No! Mo Mo's 15
Joe took Morgan out driving to help celebrate her big day. They saw 2 moose on their drive. Not every new driver has to dodge moose! We didn't actually get her driver's permit until we returned to Utah a few days later. Watch out world, Morgan has her permit and we're not afraid to use it.Monday, July 4, 2011

Spring has Sprung
Well, the spring weather in Utah has definitely fallen short of our expectations this year, but we haven't let it stop us from having fun. Joe and I took the kids to California mid-March to get away from the gloomy weather. We had such a fun time with the kids. They have become such delightful, humorous, joyful people!
Kelsey has been busy at school. She has been in the A.L.L. (Advance Learning Lab) program for the past 2 years. This year the school work has been very demanding, yet also very rewarding. The beginning of April Kelsey participated in Images of Greatness. Kelsey researched the life of William Shakespeare, prepared a tri-fold board, wrote a poem and then got to perform that poem the evening of the program. She was adorable and did a great job.
The end of April, Kelsey's class had a Renaissance Fair. Kelsey had several projects she had to complete to earn her place in society. She worked hard so she wouldn't be a peasant. She earned her spot as a "Lady" and had a fun day feasting and participating in activities. Fox13 News spotlighted her class on the early morning news. Way to work hard sis!

Holiday Greetings
We feel blessed this year to be healthy, happy and our needs and wants are met. The older I get, the faster the years seem to pass. The kids are growing, maturing and turning into truly adorable young adults and tweens. I am so proud of the kindness they show others and the good decisions they make.
Thank you to all our friends and family for your friendship and association. We are so lucky to have so many great people in our lives and appreciate your good examples. We pray that you and your families will be blessed this holiday season with health, prosperity and the joy that comes only through Christ. We believe in Christ and are thankful for the opportunity to recall His birth, His life, and His sacrifice for us. He gives us light and hope. May you have the peace and comfort this holiday season, that only He can offer.
